The Canadian Parrot Conference supports conservation efforts of our wild psittacines by raising funds with their Pennies4Parrots Challenge. The Hamilton Parrot Club joined this worthy cause and invites club members and the public to donate their pennies and loose change at our monthly meetings or special events. Congratulations everyone, though we started late into the Pennies 4 Parrots Challenge we managed to raise $104.94 at the September & October 2011 meetings towards the Military Macaw Project in Mexico. How much can we raise for 2012? The 2012 campaign supports the endangered Abaco Bahama Parrot .  |
